Microgeen Growing Systems( MGS)  is a hydroponic growing system, housed inside a 40’ insulated shipping container and includes everything needed to grow fresh produce, giving our customers the flexibility of location. Our system can be placed anywhere with power and potable water, providing you with easy access to the harvest. The MGS is Arctic ready and optimized for high yield, year round production. Produce is grown on-site, virtually eliminating the expensive and lengthy supply chain. In spite of its tiny footprint, a single MGS will supply your business with over 23,000 heads of greens per year. There are no technical skills required and anyone can become a local producer with a minimal effort. Customers can chose to grow from a variety of leafy greens and culinary herbs, such as butter lettuce, romaine, red/green leaf, kale, arugula, mint, basil, etc. Everything grown in a MGS is safe, clean, pesticide free and non – GMO. Why eat food that’s been shipped for days, when you can have nutrient rich produce, freshly harvested in any where? Straight from “farm” to table – this is our on-site advantage.

The Structure

The growing system is housed inside a custom built, 40 foot insulated shipping container. Designed with functionality and ease of use in mind, the Microgreen  Growing System is configured to optimized plant growth, minimize labor and focus on high yield harvests. For maximum functionality, the main structure is divided into 2 chambers - the growing room and the control room (aka arctic entry).


Our growing system is equipped with a cellular communications package, which allows for remote access and control of all aspects of the growing cycle. Alternatively, where data network is less robust, we can use a hard wire connection to achieve the same level of control.


Computer controlled light, temperature, pH levels and nutrition delivery, maintain optimum plant growth and consistent yield 365 per year. We monitor your growing environment remotely, leaving you to focus on other things.


Energy efficient Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) form the backbone of our growing systems. They produce light in the spectrums plants need most, which accounts for their unique glow. LEDs deliver output without producing much heat allowing us to build systems vertically, quadrupling the growing area, without increasing the footprint.

Hydroponic components

In a fully equipped System, there are 6 vertical growing racks, capable of holding anywhere from 300 to 450+ plants per rack. Modular and scalable, the growing racks are easily stackable, which maximizes yield per square foot and minimizes water usage. No pests or weeds - just clean and dry produce at harvest.


The heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system contains stove for heating, circulation fans, and louvers at each end for air flow, as well as a dehumidifier to maintain optimal humidity levels. The heating component is modular in design and can be constructed in a variety of ways. Your Microgreen System  may have one of the following heating system configurations:

Stove for the use with fuel oil, kerosene, diesel, natural gas or liquid propane
Biomass stove
Electric heat
Natural gas direct hook up
